With more than 35 years of professional experience, Ms. Brogan has worked as the president of Brogan LLC in Seattle since 2014. Prior to this position, she served as president and chief executive officer of PRR Inc. in Seattle from 1989 to 2014, superintendent of the Municipality of Metro Seattle from 1984 to 1987 and the chief land use advisor to the King County executive in Seattle from 1982 to 1984. Alongside her primary endeavors, Ms. Brogan has been a council leader for the U.S.-Japan Council since 2015 and recently served the Downtown Seattle Association Board from 2005 to 2018.

Ms. Brogan began her career as a student at the University of Washington in Seattle, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in 1972. She continued her studies with the university, graduating with a Master of Arts in 1975. A respected voice in her field, Ms. Brogan has been an active leader in her community as well. Affiliated with the Municipal League of King County from 2006 to 2015, she sat on the Washington Government's Task Force on Hunger in 1980 and again from 1986 to 1989 and participated with the Asian Counseling and Referral Service in Seattle from 1988 to 1990. Earlier in her career, she was a member of the Presidential Commission on the Status of Women from 1977 to 1978 and the Washington State Women's Council from 1975 to 1977. Additionally, Ms. Brogan sat on the board of governors of the Pacific Medical Center for many years.

A contributor of articles on transportation marketing to professional publications, Ms. Brogan maintains affiliation with National Association of Corporate Directors, the Women's Transportation Seminar and Phi Beta Kappa. She attributes her success to the outstanding mentorship she received from outstanding women who preceded her in the field. Passionate about civic engagement and social justice from an early age, she recalls building and growing PRR Inc. for 25 years to be a crowning achievement, as under her leadership, the corporation became a nationally recognized strategic communications and marketing agency.

Throughout her career, Ms. Brogan has been celebrated for her contributions with myriad accolades and honors. Named Woman of the Year by WTS International and WTS Puget Sound in 2015, she was also recognized as a Marketing Immortal by Marketing Inc. Magazine in 2014 and a Small Business Champion by the Port of Seattle in 2013. Honored as a Distinguished Alumna of the Department of Communications at the University of Washington in 2012, Ms. Brogan's company was also named the Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year by King County in 2011.

In 2008, Ms. Brogan was presented with the API Business Leadership Award from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, and she was inducted into the University of Washington's Department of Communications Hall of Fame in 2006. Earlier in her career, she received the Legacy Award and the Asian American Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Ms. Brogan has been further featured in numerous publications, including the 17th and 18th editions of Who's Who of American Women and the fourth edition of Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
