Diana Jean Collison-Jones Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Award

Diana Jean Collison-Jones and her husband have owned an adult foster care for over 20 years. She is also the area foot care nurse.

BEMIDJI, MN, March 12, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Diana Jean Jones with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Jones celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Jones is a nurse of nearly two decades. She retired from full-time employment in 2003 after 15 years of service as a staff nurse at the United States Public Health Service at Red Lake Hospital in Minnesota. She and her husband have owned an adult foster care for over 20 years. She is also the area foot care nurse.

Growing up in a rural town, Ms. Jones' friends, family and neighbors would often rely on folk remedies in the hopes of healing themselves because they weren't afforded proper medical care. Looking back upon these experiences, she decided that she would pursue a degree in nursing to obtain proper health care knowledge so that she could make suitable changes in her community. She earned an associate degree from Amarillo College in 1985 and began working in her field. She returned to college at Bemidji State University in Minnesota in 1985 and she became director of nursing in her home town. Throughout her career, her positive attitude and passion served her well. She has received nothing less than positive feedback from her patients, peers and supervisors.

Outside of her work in health care, Ms. Jones has written a plethora of poetry. She is also the author of "Fresh Tracks," which she published in 1994. In light of her exceptional undertakings in nursing, Ms. Jones has been cited in the 22nd, 23rd and 25th editions of Who's Who of American Women. Born in Prineville, OR, Ms. Jones married George Roberts Jones in 1986. She also has four wonderful children: Marlaine, Ervin, Rebecca and Crystal.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Diana Jean Jones has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
