Born in Belgium in 1938, Dr. Kader was a Holocaust survivor prior to being taken in by his great aunt and her family in Montreal, Canada. This experience led him to pursue a career where he could help people survive. Dr. Kader is currently a renowned physician with more than 50 years of experience who holds multiple positions, including staff member of the Children's Hospital and Medical Center, the Methodist Hospital and the Boys Town Institute of Communication Disorders, and professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the Creighton University School of Medicine.

Dr. Kader's career began as an intern at Jewish General Hospital in 1964, and one year later, as a reserve medical intern at Montreal General Hospital. From 1966 to 1969, he worked as a reserve neurologist at Baltimore City Hospital, known today as Mercy Medical Center, and the Johns Hopkins Hospital before beginning a pediatrics neurology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center.

Dr. Kader continued his career in Omaha, NE, in 1974 after being named to the staff of both the Children's Memorial Hospital and Nebraska Medical Center. Since that time, he has served as a staff member and consultant to hospitals and medical institutions throughout Nebraska, including CHI Health-Creighton University Medical Center-Bergen Mercy, Bishop Clarkson Memorial Hospital, Ehrling Bergquist Hospital, Immanuel Medical Center, St. Joseph Hospital, CHI Health Midlands and the Saint Joseph Center for Mental Health, among others.

A Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada, Dr. Kader is also a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners in the United States. He is certified in neurology by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Quebec and in neurology with special competence in child neurology by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry.

Dr. Kader is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology, the Nebraska chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Child Neurology Society, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Tourette Association of America, the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, and the Nebraska Academy of Neurology and Neurosurgery. Outside of his career, Dr. Kader is a member of the Jewish Federation of Omaha and B'nai B'rith Henry Monsky Lodge.

Dr. Kader in 2018 was the recipient of an award from the joint department of pediatric neurology at the Children's Hospital and Medical Center and University of Nebraska Medical Center for his 44 years of service helping children. In 2018, the Children's Hospital and Medical Center named him a Pediatric Legend for service to children and the community. In light of his exceptional undertakings, Dr. Kader was selected for inclusion in the third edition of Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare and the 57th and 58th editions of Who's Who in America.
