Mr. McInnes is a manufacturing executive who has been affiliated with AMP, Inc., in Harrisburg, PA, for 30+ years since 1965. Serving as chair of the executive committee from 1993 to 1998, he was chief executive officer between 1990 and 1993 and president between 1981 and 1986, among other roles. AMP, Inc., was the world leader in electrical and electronic connection devices and interconnection systems, claiming 19 percent of the $19 billion worldwide interconnections market at that time. Prior to his tenure with AMP, Mr. McInnes worked for Dresser Industries, Inc., Reed Rolled Thread Die Company, Tracerlab, Inc., and Delco Appliance, a small division of General Motors, dating back to 1949.

Serving on the board of directors for PPG Industries in Pittsburgh, PA, a global manufacturer of paints, coatings, and specialty materials, Mr. McInnes was also locally active as founding member of the board of the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts and board member of the United Way during the 1980s and 1990s. He is a longtime member of the Electrical Manufacturers Club as well.

One of the highlights of Mr. McInnes' career was in 1991 while working for AMP, Inc. The chief executive officer at the time, he had the pleasure of conversating with people who helped build the company from the ground up. It was at the 50th anniversary celebration and it was quite an honor.

Mr. McInnes has been cited in approximately 20 editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East, and Who's Who in Finance and Industry. He has notably held a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology since 1949.
