With more than 35 years of professional experience, Mr. Wolfe has been serving as an adjudicator, clinician and private instructor for the last 10 years. He previously served as a consultant for the Bonita Unified School District in California from 2007 to 2009. Prior to obtaining this role, he was a teacher at San Dimas High School from 2001 to 2007, having previously held the same role from 1977 to 1985. A teacher at Lone Hill Middle School in San Dimas from 1989 to 2001 and at Bonita High School in LaVerne, California, from 1985 to 1989, he was also a music instructor at the California Polytechnic State University in Pomona in 1984. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wolfe was active as a teacher in Albuquerque, New Mexico, working at Hoover Middle School from 1975 to 1977, Manzano High School from 1974 to 1975 and Grant Middle School from 1970 to 1975.

Mr. Wolfe began his career as a student at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where he obtained a Bachelor of Music Education in 1968. Following this accomplishment, he continued his studies with the university and earned a Master of Arts in 1973. Mr. Wolfe has been certified as a teacher in he states of New Mexico and California, and he is a nationally certified music educator through the National Association for Music Education.

A respected voice in his field, Mr. Wolfe has been affiliated with a number of professional organizations. He is a member of the National Association for Music Education, the California Music Education Association, the International Association for Jazz Education and the California Teachers Association. Mr. Wolfe has also been active with the Southern California School Band & Orchestra Association, the Bonita Unified Teachers Association and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.

Throughout his career, Mr. Wolfe has been recognized for his contributions. The recipient of an Award from the Juvenile Justice Commission in the city of San Dimas, he has been named to the Bonita Unified School District Hall of Fame and to the California Alliance for Jazz Education Hall of Fame as well as named San Dimas Citizen of the Year and a San Dimas Hero. Mr. Wolfe has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in Entertainment and Who's Who in the West.
