Judy Sue Dixson retired from her role as a teacher of third through fifth grade at the Fresno Unified School District in 2002.

Over the years, she also gained valuable expertise through the California Elementary Mathematics Initiative as a lead teacher from 1994 to 1995, the National Teacher Training Institute as a master teacher from 1994 to 1995, the California Science Implementation Network as a lead teacher from 1993 to 1994, and the San Joaquin Valley Mathematics Project as a member in 1992. Although her career has been filled with highlights, she is especially proud of seeing her former students succeed.

A deacon for New Covenant Community Church, Ms. Dixson holds a Bachelor of Arts in life science from Fresno State University. In order to remain abreast of changes in the field, she maintains affiliation with the California Retired Teachers Association. A certified teacher in the state of California, she has additionally written myriad educational materials for teachers and students alike.

In light of her professional accomplishments, Ms. Dixson was featured in the fifth edition of Who's Who in American Education and the 20th and 26th editions of Who's Who of American Women. Looking toward the future, Ms. Dixson intends to continue enjoying her retirement.
