Vivian J. Tsao developed a distinct reputation as an artist and an art educator and has taught and displayed her work in both Taiwan and the United States.
NEW YORK, NY, March 28, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Vivian J. Tsao with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Tsao celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Armed with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from National Taiwan Normal University and a Master of Fine Arts in painting from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Ms. Tsao has made a successful career out of her passion for art. From a young age, her mother encouraged her to express herself through art and would give the frail child drawing paper on which to create stories. Ms. Tsao's artistic talent was recognized and nurtured early on in her life. At age 12, she began her art lessons with Professor Sun To-Ze on Saturdays. She later developed a distinct reputation as an artist and an art educator and has taught and displayed her work in both Taiwan and the United States. Her invitational solo shows include those at the National Museum of History in Taiwan in 2009 and at the Tenri Cultural Institute in New York in 2018. A dedicated artist, she has also exhibited at the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the Brooklyn Museum, the Queens Museum, The National Arts Club in New York and The Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown.
In addition, Ms. Tsao has written several books and essays in her field such as the bilingual book Paintings by Vivian Tsao in both Mandarin Chinese and English languages. She has been a contributing art writer for the Bulletin of the National Museum of History in Taiwan since 2009. As a respected painter in her field, she will be featured in the 2019 spring issue of "Pratik," an English language literary journal published in Nepal. It will include both her paintings and her writing on her development as an artist. In order to remain abreast of developments in her field, Ms. Tsao maintains affiliation with the Society of Fellows of Dyson College at Pace University, The National Arts Club and the College Art Association.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Ms. Tsao has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
