In addition to his primary roles, he has been a member of the Physician Board of Managers for the Arizona Care Network since 2015 and is now vice chair of the Physician Board of Managers to become Chair in 2021. He is also serving on the Maternal Child Health Council for Dignity Health helping to manage 60,000 deliveries across the Dignity Health system. He also is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Midwestern University in Glendale since 2013 and Co-Owner of New Horizon's Medical Spa since 2007.
Dr. Swarup has also held a number of positions with Arizona Ob/Gyn Affiliates, including Chair of the Website and Marketing Committee since 2010 and Secretary from 2007 to 2014. Since 2000, he has served as Co-Founding Partner and Associate Managing Partner of New Horizon's Women's Care.
Dr. Swarup began his career as a student at the University of Maryland in College Park, completing coursework from 1986 to 1987. Joining Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 1990 and subsequently obtained a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh in 1994. Following these accomplishments, he completed a residency with the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1998. Dr. Swarup has been certified as an obstetrician and gynecologist by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds medical licenses in the states of Arizona and Texas.
