After graduating from medical school, Dr. Kim completed his undergraduate, master's, and doctorate programs at department of medicine.
In order to remain conscious on the development in the field, Dr. Kim is affiliated with The Korean Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The Korean Association of Plastic Surgeons, the Korean Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association Surgery, the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. With a great amount of knowledge, he has authored articles for The Journal of Craniofacial Surgery (JCS), and European Surgical Research. During his spare time, Dr. Kim has contributed to those less fortunate through UNICEF and the provision of his pro bono medical services.
One of the highlights of Dr. Kim's career thus far has been receiving recognitions as a plastic surgeon in Korea, which is home to some of the most advanced technologies in plastic surgery. For his outstanding work in the field, he has been presented with many awards, including the Top Brand Award in the area of Facial Contouring from the Korea Health Industry Awards, a Grand Prize in the area of Rhinoplasty and Facial Contouring from the Global Medical Brand and a Best Research Award from the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. Looking toward the future, Dr. Kim intends to continue growing through his endless research efforts.
