Backed by over 20 years of professional excellence in engineering, Mrs. Ingmire has been serving as a mechanical engineer and deputy program manager of systems engineering for NAWACAD since 2003, she also formerly worked as an aerospace engineer in human systems from 2000 to 2003. Earlier in her career, she gained valuable expertise in engineering with Naval Aviation Depot Jacksonville as an aerospace engineer and lead engineer from 1995 to 2000, and in education with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) as a research assistant between 1991 and 1995 and the University of Arizona Machine Shop as a teaching assistant between 1989 and 1991. In a career filled with highlights, she is especially proud of her work with the Women's Initiative Network (WIN) in 2019, her work with ARSAG International from 1995 – 20013, as well as the work she previously conducted on the International Air-to-Air Refueling Manual ATP-56 in 2007.

An expert in her field, Ms. Ingmire holds a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from the University of Arizona, where she went on to earn a Master of Science in mechanical engineering. To remain abreast of changes in the field, she maintains a subscription to NASA Tech Briefs. She used to be a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, where she previously served as the vice chair for the University of Arizona Chapter. In her spare time, she contributes to her local community through the Girl Scouts of the United States of America, having been a troop leader since 1994, and the Bay Community Support Services Board, which she joined in 2018.

Throughout her career, Ms. Ingmire co-authored a number of professional publications, including "Ports and Windows on Manned Spacecraft and on Lunar and Planetary Habitation Modules," "Space Debris: An Engineering Solution with an Autonomous Space Robot," "Teaching in Space," "Optical Port Experiments" and "Design and Development of Observation and Scientific Windows for Manned and Planetary Modules."

In light of her professional accomplishments, Mrs. Ingmire earned the International Founders Award and an International Award for her work on ATP-56 through ARSAG, a grant from NASA, and a feature in the 20th edition of Who's Who of American Women. Looking ahead, Mrs. Ingmire intends to experience the continued success of her career.
