Beginning his career as a planning coordinator for the Andean Region and a market analyst for Texaco Colombia from 1994 to 1995, he later found success as a senior sales associate for Medellin, Colombia in 1995 to 1997 and a planning manager for Texaco from 1998 to 1999. Following these appointments, Mr. Pulido held a number of posts in his industry for Texaco and Chevron between 2000 and 2012.
Mr. Pulido participated in the team that sold the operations of Chevron Texaco in Latin America (27 countries in 6 years) protecting all the employees in seamless transactions that generated close to 2 billion dollars to Chevron. Furthermore. in the past 6 years the company has doubled the size of the operation in Jamaica, representing the Texaco brand while in GB Group, contributing to the growth of the country with major corporate and social responsibility.
An expert in his field, Mr. Pulido earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering, finance, marketing and agroindustry through the Universidad de los Andes in 1994. During his spare time, he has contributed to his community as the vice president of the board of directors for the American Chamber of Commerce in Jamaica, and on the membership committee for the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica. Previously, Mr. Pulido completed service in the Colombian Army as well as a part of peacekeeping forces between Egypt and Israel for the United Nations' Multinational Force and Observers in 1988.
In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Pulido has been presented with the Pioneer Award from the United States Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he obtained a Champions for Youth President's Award from Junior Achievement Jamaica in 2016 and 2018. Looking toward the future, Mr. Pulido intends to grow his career within GB GROUP, where he has worked as the chief executive officer for GB Energy Jamaica since 2012.
