Mr. Morganroth began practicing law in 1955 in Birmingham, MI. After serving clients for more than 40 years, he and his son established Morganroth & Morganroth PLLC in 1989 with locations in both Birmingham and New York City. Providing legal representation to clients in many different practice areas, from white-collar crime and employment and labor to real estate, family law, and personal injury, his firm represents clients in court cases, mediations, arbitrations, appeals, business matters and corporate matters in numerous states, courts and jurisdictions across the country. Mr. Morganroth notably serves as senior partner of Morganroth & Morganroth and his son as managing partner. They have a team of nine other attorneys representing the practice.

Recognized for his work in acquitting John DeLorean, an American engineer who was best known as the founder of the DeLorean Motor Company, and Jack Kevorkian, who was best known for publicly championing a terminal patient's right to die via physician-assisted suicide, Mr. Morganroth has received much acclaim over the years. Named a Preeminent Lawyer by Martindale Hubbell, he has also been named One of North America's Top Attorneys, as a New York Top Trial Lawyer and to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100. He was named a Distinguished Lawyer by the American Academy of Trial Lawyers and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from his alma mater, Michigan State University College of Law, as well. Mr. Morganroth has been showcased in more than 55 editions of Who's Who, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the World.

During his career, Mr. Morganroth was active as an appointed trustee for the Michigan State University College of Law. He has since been serving as trustee to the board of trustees since 2014. He is notably a longstanding member of multiple professional organizations, including the Federal Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Judicature Society, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Oakland County Bar Association.

Mr. Morganroth served in the U.S. Navy between 1948 and 1950. Exiting the military at the age of 19, he began studying pre-med, a field his parents pushed him to pursue. Switching to law, he had a very difficult time dealing with people in pain. Mr. Morganroth earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and history from Michigan State University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Detroit College of Law, now known as the Michigan State University College of Law. He has been admitted to the Michigan and New York Bar Associations, the Supreme Court of the United States, the Eastern and Western Districts of the U.S. District Court of Michigan, and the Northern District of the U.S. District Court of Ohio. In addition, he was admitted before the Southern and Eastern Districts of the U.S. District Court of New York, the U.S. District Court of D.C., the Second, Fourth, Sixth and Eighth Circuits of the U.S. Court of Appeals, the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

Married to his wife Sheila Rubinstein since 1958, Mr. Morganroth has three children and five grandchildren. His son recently celebrated his 30th year with the firm and his one daughter has been working for the father-son law firm for the past 26 years.
