Prior to these appointments, he served as an acupuncturist at the Beth Israel Continuum Cancer Center and the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System in 2015. Earlier in his career, Mr. Chong found success through his work with the Acupuncture Center of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
Prior to embarking on his career in acupuncture, Mr. Chong excelled in the field of graphic design, having earned a Bachelor's degree in graphic design from the City College of New York in 1978 and a degree in advanced graphic design from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 1979. Also receiving a degree in advertising design from the Parsons School of Design in 1982 and a degree in computer graphics from the New School in 1995, he obtained a Master's degree in acupuncture in 2015. Certified in clean needle techniques by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2013, Mr. Chong has been further certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid since 2011.
For excellence in his areas of expertise, Mr. Chong has received a number of honors and accolades over the years. Honored as the Best of School in the Visual Arts Competition in 1973, he was subsequently presented with an Excellence Award from the International Association of Business Communication in 1985. In light of all his accomplishments, Mr. Chong has previously been featured in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Entertainment, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
