An accomplished listee, Mr. Walcott celebrated many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. With a career spanning over four decades, Mr. Walcott retired in 1994, having most recently served as the senior vice president and division manager of the J.A. Jones Construction Company in Charlotte, NC, since 1979. Prior to attaining these prestigious roles, he was active as the manager of the company from 1967 to 1979. He has also contributed to J.A. Jones Construction Company on the board of directors. Mr. Walcott began his career as a project manager and superintendent of the Scott Company in San Francisco from 1952 to 1967.

In addition to his primary career responsibilities, Mr. Walcott contributed his skills to a number of other professional and civic endeavors as well. Serving with the United States Coast Guard from 1947 to 1950, he also spent time with the United States Army National Guard. He also donated his time to the Wesley Men's Fellowship Group with the Providence United Methodist Church. In an effort to maintain professional connections, Mr. Walcott held membership with the Carmel Country Club, the Masons, Shriners International and the American Legion. He received the "Boss of the Year" award from the American Business Women's Association (1987-1988).

To prepare for his career, Mr. Walcott received a Bachelor of Arts from Hartnell College in 1954, later completing postgraduate coursework at the University of North Carolina between 1978 and 1979. After gaining prominence in the field, he received a Master of Business Administration from American Century University in 1983.

Born to the late Wayne Lee Walcott and Laurice Branscombe in Los Angeles, CA, Mr. Walcott was happily married to Marianne Matiasevich since 1953. He once described the best accomplishments of his life were becoming a father and having the privilege of being married to his soulmate. He is the proud father of three children. He was also a grandfather to seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Remembered for being a man of character, humility and substance, he held the unique gift of being a non-judgmental listener and was a lover of people unconditionally. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and traveling, and he possessed a private pilot license. In light of all his accomplishments, Mr. Walcott was-previously selected for inclusion in the 27th edition of Who's Who in Finance and industry and multiple editions of Who's Who in the South and Southwest and Who's Who in the World.
