After serving as statistician with the New York Department of Motor Vehicles and an aviation meteorologist in the U.S. Air Force in New York, Maine and Vietnam, Mr. Perrone began a lengthy career in marine meteorology, starting with IMCOS Marine Ltd. in London, England, in 1971. From there, he worked in the same capacity with Ocean Routes, Inc., in Palo Alto, CA, from 1973 to 1974.
Over the years, Mr. Perrone also gained valuable expertise in various aspects of meteorology, including research with the Naval Environmental Prediction Research Facility and the National Weather Service between 1974 and 1984. Additionally, he worked in executive roles with Logicon, Inc., as a senior computer scientist, BAE Systems as a senior systems analyst, and ITT as a senior systems engineer before establishing his own private practice in consultancy in Clarksburg, MD, in 2015.
An expert in his field, Mr. Perrone holds a Bachelor of Science in economics, politics and engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Science in meteorology from Pennsylvania State University, a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Lincoln University, and a Master of Science in systems management from the University of Denver. He has been affiliated with the American Meteorological Society, the American Statistical Association, the California Bar Association and the National Weather Association. Throughout his career, he has utilized his considerable knowledge to contribute articles to professional journals.
In light of his outstanding work in his profession, Mr. Perrone was featured in the 23rd edition of Who's Who in the East. Looking forward, Mr. Perrone intends to continue parlaying his knowledge of the field to others in his role as a consultant.
