In a career filled with highlights, Mr. Daniel is especially proud of his contributions to Baylor Letterman's Foundation in honor of Dutch Schroeder, and establishing the James R. Daniel Cerebrovascular and Stroke Center at Integris Baptist Medical Center of Oklahoma.
An expert in his field, Mr. Daniel has earned diplomas from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and economics from Baylor University. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, he is affiliated with a number of organizations over the years, including the Southern Baptist Convention, the Consumer Bankers Association, and a plethora of community organizations. During his spare time, Mr. Daniel has participated in philanthropic and charitable causes through the Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools, the Oklahoma State Pension Board and Integris Health of Oklahoma, on which he served for 41 years, holding the post of chairman at one point.
For his outstanding work, Mr. Daniel was recognized by the Oklahoma Bankers Association for 50-Years in Banking, selected for inclusion in the Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation Wall of Fame, and has been eponymously honored with Jim Daniel Day by Governor Frank Keating. Additionally, he has been featured in multiple editions of Who's Who in the South and Southwest, and Who's Who in Finance and Industry.
