Heea Vazirani-Fales Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

With more than 20 years of professional experience, Ms. Vazirani-Fales was counsel on the subcommittee on civil service in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2003. Prior to obtaining this role, she was deputy staff director and council on the subcommittee on government reform from 2000 to 2002, and the counsel on the subcommittee on postal service government reform from 1995 to 2000. Earlier in her career, she was legislature counsel to Congresswoman Constance A. Morella from 1987 to 1994 and staff and legislative director at the Montgomery County Delegation General Assembly of Maryland from 1981 to 1987.

Ms. Vazirani-Fales began her career as a student at Guilford College, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, history and political science in 1959. She later continued her studies with Howard University, earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1979. A member of Phi Delta Phi and Volunteers for the Visually Handicapped, she served on the board of directors of the Manipal Education and Medical Foundation from 1970 to 1992.

Throughout her career, Ms. Vazirani-Fales has been recognized for her achievements. She has received awards and accolades for her contributions and accomplishments. She has also been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East and Who's Who of American Women.
