Supported by 45 years of practiced industry experience, Dr. Bregman currently serves as an adjunct professor at Tulsa Community College. At the beginning of his career, he excelled in geophysics with Texaco, Inc., Petroleum Exploration Consultants and the Amerada Hess Corporation. Following these appointments, he found success with academic positions at Ohio Wesleyan University and Houston Community College. Throughout his career, Dr. Bregman has also worked as a college newspaper column writer while attending the University of New Mexico.

An expert in his field, Dr. Bregman earned a Bachelor of Science from the City University of New York in Brooklyn, a Master of Science from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of New Mexico. Additionally, he is certified as a geophysicist in California and as a petroleum geologist in Wyoming. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, he is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, the Geological Society of America and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.

Dr. Bregman contributes to his community as the head coach of the Tulsa Judo Club. He is a 7th degree black belt, a continental level coach, and an Olympic referee.

Dr. Bregman has been presented with the Henry Stone Award in 2000 by U.S.A. Judo for outstanding administrative service, with the John Osako Award in 2001 as the outstanding referee in the U.S., and the Coach of the Year Award from the Oklahoma Association in 2005. Also in 2005, he was inducted into the Jim Thorpe Hall of Fame as the Outstanding Male Martial Artist of the Year. Likewise, he was selected for inclusion in Who's Who in America in 2006.
