Today, she has found success as a poet, providing her exemplary written works to various anthologies and has self-published a number of texts, including "Blessings" and "Poems, Prayers and Inspiration." Additionally, Ms. Nielson accrued valuable expertise as a school lunch manager for Brooklyn Public School #61 and as a clerk for First National City Bank.
Prior to embarking upon her professional path, Ms. Nielson earned an Associate of Science in food from the State University of New York at Cobleskill in 1963. During her spare time, she knits and crochets for the needy, selflessly contributing to such organizations as Warm Up America. Moreover, Ms. Nielson remains active as a member of the International Society of Poets.
Although she has experienced many highlights over the years, Ms. Nielson is especially proud of helping other people throughout the entirety of her career. Throughout her career, she was recognized many times, earning Editor's Choice Awards between 1995 and 2003. Looking toward the future, Ms. Nielson intends to experience the continued success of her writing.
