She concluded her academic efforts at North Central College in 1993, graduating with a Master of Science. In her spare time, Ms. Pollock enjoys bowling, bicycling, reading, and cross stitching.

A native of Villa Park, IL, Ms. Pollock is the daughter of Michael Paul and Dorothy Rosella Pollock. Due to her professional excellence, she has been featured in a plethora of publications, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the Midwest, Who's Who of American Women, Who's Who in the Media and Communications, and Who's Who in Science and Engineering.
