After accruing 40 years of practiced industry experience, Dr. Walter Mullendore retired from his role as the dean of the College of Business at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Prior to this appointment, he worked for Oklahoma State University as a graduate assistant and completed service in the U.S. Army. Over the years, Dr. Mullendore found additional success through a number of academic roles at Iowa State University and the University of Texas at Arlington.
An expert in his field, Dr. Mullendore initially pursued an education at Oklahoma State University, earning a Bachelor of Science. He subsequently continued his studies with a Master of Science, also at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Mullendore concluded his academic efforts at Iowa State University, graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy in economics.
In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Dr. Mullendore is affiliated with the Missouri Valley Economic Association, where he has held the posts of the vice president and the president in the early 1980s. For his excellence in the field, he was selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the South and Southwest and Who's Who in Science and Engineering. Looking toward the future, Dr. Mullendore intends to continue enjoying his well-deserved retirement.
