After accruing over 40 years of practiced industry experience, Ms. Moore retired from her role as an Environmental Specialist from the Hanford site in Washington. Earlier in her career, she served as a secretary for the Westinghouse Hanford Co. before joining Ebasco Services Inc. as a Quality Assurance Lead Auditor. Over the years, Ms. Moore gained valuable knowledge through various roles with Benton-Franklin Counties, SAIC, many contractors on the Hanford site, and various restaurants in Alaska, Washington and Oregon.
Certified in LAN system management and quality assurance auditing, Ms. Moore holds an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Science from Columbia Basin College in Pasco, Washington, and a Bachelor of Science in Energy and Environmental Quality Management from City University in Bellevue, WA. Both degrees were obtained while working full time. In order to keep abreast of changes in the field, she affiliated herself with Women in Communications. In light of all her accomplishments, Ms. Moore was honored for her professional work with a feature in the 21st edition of Who's Who of American Women.
Born to George Herman Erickson and Buna Rosetta Erickson (Plank) in Pasco, Washington, Ms. Moore is the proud mother of two daughters, and grandmother to four granddaughters and four great-granddaughters. In her spare time, she greatly enjoys camping, fishing and playing pool. In the coming years, Ms. Moore intends to make the most of her retirement.
