With nearly 35 years of professional experience, Mr. Hardy has excelled as a private investigator, the president and the chief executive officer of Interstate Security and Investigation, Inc., since 2008. Prior to establishing this firm, he worked as a detective with the New York City Police Department from 1988 to 2008. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hardy began his career as the owner of Fur Concepts from 1985 to 1988.

Mr. Hardy initially pursued his coursework at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where he studied fashion buying and merchandising. He is a licensed as a private investigator with the New York State Department of State, a New York State certified security guard training instructor, and a counter-terrorism instructor. He has also been certified as an emergency management consultant, a fire safety director, and a real estate agent. For his contributions to his community, Mr. Hardy was presented with the Black Excellence Award from the town of North Hempstead, New York.
