Mrs. Marler serves as a National Account Executive for Carlile Transportation Systems, Inc, a Saltchuk Company. To the position Molly brings with her 18 years transportation experience, having worked for a local Alaska bypass mail company, an ESOP freight forwarding company, and a 3rd party logistics company. Throughout her career, she has honed her expertise overseeing the Jones Act Ports, which are all located in regions of the U.S. that are not connected to it consisting of Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, USVI and most notably in her career, the "Last Frontier" state of Alaska.
Additionally, Molly served as the Assistant Executive Director of the Associated General Contractors of Alaska where she introduced a new online plans service, and worked with contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, and legislatures to support the safety, growth, education programs, and workforce of the construction industry in both the state of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest.
Before embarking on her professional journey, she earned a Bachelor of Arts from the Metropolitan State College of Denver, and studied her master's work at the University of Colorado.
During her career, Mrs. Marler contributed her time and expertise as a trustee of the AGC Northwest Health Trust, board member of the Northwest LECET, volunteer and attendee of the Alaska chapter of the FBI citizens' academy, and continues in the community as a parent volunteer at local in eastern Washington.
Marler attributes her success to having a passion for solving puzzles, implementing creative ideas, never making assumptions, asking clear questions, and surrounding herself with a network of ethical mentors & colleagues, brutally honest- yet unwavering- friends, the patience, love, and support of her husband Scott, and life balance with her three remarkable children.
