Mr. Koenig led a prolific career in the fields of consulting and engineering for more than 70 years, with having excelled as the chairman of H.P. Koenig Management Consultant, in the cities of Jupiter, Satellite Beach, and Melbourne in Florida since 1990. He began his career with the Grain Processing Corporation, in Muscatine, Iowa, as a chief engineer between 1948 and 1950, lesson expansion to Tampa, Florida after service in the United States Navy. accepting the role of an engineer manager with the Standard Oil Company in Whiting, Indiana, from 1953 to 1956. He further worked as a management consultant with Booz, Allen, & Hamilton between 1956 and 1964 and vice president of Dresser Industries, Inc., in Dallas, Texas, from 1964 to 1967. Mr. Koenig additionally founded the Ecological Science Corporation, where he held the posts of the chief executive officer, chairman, and president between 1967 and 1973, headquarted in Miami and Lugano, Switzerland.

Later, Mr. Koenig served Unionamerica Inc., and Windham Power Lifts, in Elba, Alabama, as the chief executive officer in 1974. As he built the company, he held the titles of president and chairman prior to his departure in 1976. After serving as the chief executive officer and later a director at Matisa S.A. in Lausanne, Switzerland, for three years, Mr. Koenig found success with Caneon Hydrauliques in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, between 1978 and 1980. Soon thereafter, he founded Tele-Optics, Inc., where he held the roles of a chief operating officer, chief executive officer and chairman, and the president, from 1986 to 1990.

Other professional endeavors to Mr. Koenig's credit include becoming certified as a Evangelical Explosion lecturer in West Palm Beach and Jupiter in Florida in 1991. An adviser for the United States Citizens Democracy Corps in Ukraine and Russia between 1996 and 1998, he also had participated as supervising counselor for the Billy Graham Crusade in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Civically, he has been involved with the Council on Environmental Quality, the Melbourne Florida International Airport, and Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, among other local organizations. Notably, he completed service in the United States Naval Reserve, where he achieved the rank of lieutenant commander between 1943 and 1946.

Mr. Koenig was active duty in the United States Army in World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Koenig also maintained his affiliation with the Pacific Theater of Operations with the United States Navy as a Seabee from 1951 to 1953. Mr. Koenig Served as an ecological advisor to president Richard Nixon from 1969 to 1971 and was instrumental in helping the president designate April 22 as Earth Day starting in 1970.

Prior to embarking on his career, Mr. Koenig completed coursework at Ohio Wesleyan University between 1944 and 1945. He later graduated with a Bachelor of Science at Iowa State University in 1947. Mr. Koenig concluded his academic pursuits with a Master of Science form the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1956. A registered engineer in the states of Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, and Iowa, Mr. Koenig was ordained to ministry with the Baptist Church in 1994. He authored numerous professional articles. In 1991, Mr. Koenig authored a book titled Winning Against Satrin-Applying Military Principals to Spiritual Warfare.
