Supported by nearly 40 years of practiced experience, Judge Bouschor excelled as a judge for the Minnesota District Court in Duluth from 1978 until his retirement in 1995. Prior to this appointment, he briefly served as a judge for the County of St. Louis in Minnesota between 1977 and 1978. From 1960 to 1976, he contributed as an attorney for the City of Proctor, Minnesota, while simultaneously working at a private practice in Duluth between 1958 and 1977. In 1976, he founded both Clan Sinclair USA and the Duluth Scottish Heritage Association.

Before embarking on his professional endeavors, Judge Bouschor studied at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1952. Six years later, he graduated at the William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, and earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence. Subsequent to graduating with his law degree, he was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar Association in 1958.

An active member of his community, Judge Bouschor served of counsel for the Proctor Public Utilities Board for Proctor Public Schools and a special municipal judge for the City of Duluth. Additionally, he devoted his time as the past president of the Learning Disabilities Association of Minnesota, a board of governors member for the St. Andrew Society of Minnesota, a member of the advisory board for the Duluth Salvation Army, and the past chairman of the United Day Activity Center. For his civic involvement and contributions, he was presented with the Outstanding Eagle Scout Award from the Boy Scouts of America and honored in the City of Proctor Hall of Fame in 1959.

To remain aware of current legal trends, Judge Bouschor maintains affiliation with the Minnesota District Judges Association and the Minnesota Bar Association. An avid lover of all things Scottish, he is a member of numerous related organizations, including the Clan Sinclair Association, the Royal Order of Scotland, the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, and Scottish-American Military Society. He also maintained association with the Sons of the American Revolution, the Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem, Rotary International, the Elks and the Masons, where he was a grand high priest and grand master. Enjoying his retirement, Judge Bouschor loves studying history and playing bagpipes in his spare time.
