Mr. Huang has been active as a chemist, laboratory manager and director at the Nuevo Lab Pte. Ltd. in Singapore since 2014. His tenure in the field formerly included working as a senior chemist at AWCS Technologies Pte. Ltd. and as both a chemist and team lead at Admaterials Technologies Pte. Ltd. and CAST Laboratories Pte. Ltd., where he was actively involved in setting up various testing methods such as metal alloy testing via Bruker Arc Spark Spectrometer, thermal analysis of material via Mettler Toledo Thermogravimetric Analyzer, heavy metal analysis via Perkin Elmer ICP-OES, etc. Earlier in his career, Mr. Huang was an assistant chemist, chemist and team lead at CPG Laboratories Pte. Ltd. and a senior laboratory technician at a Nestle Global R&D Center, where he learn the basics and various techniques in laboratory.
While interning at a government laboratory, Mr. Huang developed a great passion for his work. Steering him toward science and chemistry, he has very much enjoyed the direction his career has taken him. Today, he looks forward to setting up his company and watching it grow. He also implemented International Organization for Standardization 17025 in his company.
Prior to embarking on his career, Mr. Huang pursued an education at Singapore Polytechnic, where he earned a diploma in chemical process technology in 2003. Following this accomplishment, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in molecular biology and biotechnology at the University of Western Australia in 2010. Mr. Huang has since completed Bizsafe courses, an IAQ management training course through the Singapore Environment Institute, ISO17025 Laboratory Management course through Spring Singapore.
Born to Wee Eng Hoo and Chia Ngeng Noy, Mr. Huang has been happily married to his wife, Tan Chen Chen, for many years. In his down time, he enjoys decompressing by attending the movies.
