Margaret Larson was named the Top Family Nurse Practitioner in Washington State by the International Nursing Association in 2018.
BURIEN, WA, August 02, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Margaret Larson has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Inspired by her father, a family practitioner, and her mother, a registered nurse, Ms. Larson pursued a career in the healthcare field and became the owner of the medical aesthetics practice in 2010 then family practice in 2012. As the owner of one of the last private practices in the area, she intends to maintain the practice and continue her father's legacy through her own work and that of her daughter, who will soon serve as a nurse practitioner. June 3, 2019 Ms. Larson launched her residency program to mentor new nurse practitioner graduates in the combination private practice of family practice and medical aesthetics. Over the last decade, the practice has been honored with several recognitions, including accreditation through the Better Business Bureau since 2013 and NCQA for Patient Centered Medical Home since 2017. They have also been designated an Alma Lasers Center of Excellence and Suneva Medical Regional Bellafill Training Center. As a provider Ms. Larson was presented BellaDiamond Provider Award and Top US Bellafill Provider since 2014 and Top Bellafill Provider in the World in 2018 by Suneva Medical, INC and lastly, the Top Family Nurse Practitioner in Washington State by the International Nursing Association in 2018.
During the initial years of her career, Ms. Larson attended Pacific Lutheran University, from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1982. She next studied at the University of Washington, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1987. Subsequently, Ms. Larson returned to Pacific Lutheran University and earned a Master of Science in healthcare administration chronic care management in 2000, and a Family Nurse Practitioner certification in 2005.
In the course of her professional journey, Ms. Larson furthered her education, becoming certified to conduct neuromodulator, dermal filler, cryolypolisis, laser, pellet insertion and platelet rich plasma procedures. Ms. Larson is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), which she has maintained since 2005.
In order to maintain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Larson maintains her professional alignment with the AANP and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Adjacent to her career, her avocations include athletic activities such as downhill skiing and hiking. Ms. Larson is happily married to her husband, Arthur, and together they are proud parents of a blended family of two sons and four daughters
