Ronald Huff Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Mr. Huff has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in the engineering industry

A major highlight of Ronald Huff's career was his assignment to work on the Saturn V5 rocket project during his time with NASA.

WESTLAKE, OH, August 13, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Mr. Huff with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Huff celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Now retired, Mr. Huff has accrued more than five decades of experience as a mechanical engineer. His most recent position was as the president of Huff and Associates, LLC in Cleveland, Ohio, between 1986 and 2012. Prior engagements to his credit include working for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration in Cleveland as an aerospace technologist from 1958 to 1987 and as an aeronautical engineer for the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics in Cleveland between 1955 and 1958.

Throughout his successful career, Mr. Huff has developed patents on a supersonic jet noise suppressor, methods for measuring internal hot gas wall temperatures in rocket engines, and multi-fold side branch mufflers. A major highlight of his career was his assignment to work on the Saturn V5 rocket project during his time with NASA. While working on the Saturn V5, a famous rocket scientist, Wernher von Braun, Director of NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, visited the wind tunnel where tests on the Saturn five were being conducted in 1960. For Mr. Huff, having the opportunity to work on a historical project was gratifying. His multi-fold side branch muffler was used by Corsa Performance to establish a new sound for after market automobile mufflers, and has resulted in a multi-million dollar company that is a recognized leader in performance exhaust systems.

In 1953, Mr. Huff graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical/aeronautical engineering. To remain aware with the latest engineering trends, he maintains his professional affiliation with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association. A past member of the North Olmstead Parent Teachers Association, Mr. Huff has also dedicated his time and efforts as a photographer for the North Olmsted Band Boosters.

Following his studies in higher education, Mr. Huff served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955 achieving the rank of a first lieutenant. Outside of his primary responsibilities, he enjoys piloting and general aviation during his spare time. In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Huff has been selected for inclusion in numerous editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Who's Who in the Midwest, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in Finance and Business, and Who's Who in Finance and Industry.
