Prior to his current role, Mr. Zigerelli gained valuable expertise in business administration through his work as the president of Cheaper Peepers from 2010 until 2012, worked with Prentice Capital in 2007, and was president and CEO of Duckwall from 2008 to 2010. He also served with Meijer, Inc. in several roles, including as the president from 2005 to 2006, the executive vice president from 2004 until 2005, a senior vice president of merchandising in 2003 and a senior vice president of marketing, advertising and corporate development in 2002. Some of his earliest roles in the field were that of an executive vice president of corporate development for CVS between 1999 and 2002 and a category management and consumer response specialist with Procter & Gamble, where he spent nearly 20 years. Throughout his career, Mr. Zigerelli has provided his considerable knowledge to several additional companies and organizations, such as the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, Levitz Furniture, Inc., Duckwall-ALCO Stores Inc., the New England Consulting Group and the True Value Company.
In 1980, Mr. Zigerelli earned a Bachelor of Arts in administrative science from Yale University. He maintains his professional affiliation with the University of Arkansas Business School as a board member and the Arkansas College of Health Education as a member of the advisory board. For his professional accomplishments, he has been celebrated with numerous awards. In addition to being recognized as the Youngest General Manager in Company History and a Top Three Brand Manager for Procter & Gamble, Mr. Zigerelli was presented with the Marketing Leader of the Year Award from by the National Drug Store Association.
Furthermore, Mr. Zigerelli has been featured in myriad publications, such as Who's Who in Finance and Business and Who's Who in America. He is the proud father of three wonderful children, who have all attended Georgetown University and become successful in their chosen career.
