Mr. Pandick has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in the fields of wealth management and law

LOUDONVILLE, NY, August 20, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Thomas O. Pandick with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Pandick celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Pandick has been the chief compliance officer of Tocqueville Asset Management LP in New York City since 2004. Founded in 1985, Tocqueville Asset Management is an independently owned partnership that focuses exclusively on the long-term growth and preservation of clients' capital. Since 2004, he has also served as chief compliance officer to the Tocqueville Trust, series of mutual funds. Prior to his tenure at Tocqueville Asset Management, he was vice president of Kirkbride Asset Management, Inc., also in New York City, between 2000 and 2004. Mr. Pandick also devoted 26 years to law, first as an attorney, assistant counsel and counsel for the New York State Employee/Police & Fire Retirement Systems, as the director of investor affairs for the Office of State Comptroller for the State of New York, and as counsel to the New York State Workers' Compensation Board.

Originally planning to pursue a career in music, Mr. Pandick eventually changed his major to accounting and then law. During the first portion of his career, while working for the State of New York as counsel for the Workers' Compensation Board, he created the first-ever State agency Code of Conduct for Law Judges; authored the first-ever Code of Civility for practitioners conducting business before the Board; implemented innovations to introduce electronic case file management modernization; and reformed the administrative adjudication process. In his work as Director of Investor Affairs he was notably instrumental in pioneering a nationally recognized program that effectively structured and filed hundreds of SEC Rule 14a-8 shareholder resolutions seeking corporate cooperation in ending apartheid in South Africa and religious discrimination in Northern Ireland; successfully defended legal challenges to those proposals, orchestrated national proxy solicitation campaigns in support of the proposals and negotiated their corporate adoption. As national spokesperson for the State Comptroller on issues of corporate governance and fiduciary responsibility policy, Mr. Pandick advocated positions at corporate annual meetings, educational conferences and meetings with corporate executives, foreign dignitaries and institutional investors.

Mr. Pandick has been a director for the WJ Barney Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization in New York City, since 2010 and served as a director of the University Club of Albany, NY from 1995-2011; as its president 2007-2009. He has been cited in the 23rd and 24th editions of Who's Who in the East. Receiving a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Ithaca College in 1969, Mr. Pandick then earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Union University in 1972. He was soon after admitted to the New York State Bar Association in 1973.

Married to Deborah Pandick, Mr. Pandick is the proud father of two wonderful daughters and grandfather of one grandchild. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, photography and 1975 Triumph TR6. He also loves to travel with his family. For more information, please visit www.tocqueville.com.
