Having accrued over 40 years of experience in the field, Mr. Moore is currently a partner in the firm of Ryan, Moore, Cook, Triplett & Albertson, LLP. He is certified to practice law by the Indiana State Bar Association, United States District Courts for the Southern District and Northern District of Indiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He previously worked as an associate at Ryan, Hartzell & Ryan from 1981 to 1982. Mr. Moore began his career as an associate at Barnes, Hickam, Pantzer & Boyd from 1977 to 1981. Additionally, he has served the City of Frankfort as City Attorney and the Town of Kirklin and has been counsel to the Clinton County Area Plan Commission since 1997. From 1992 to 2017, he served the Clinton County Election Board as the Chairman. Having served The Farmers Bank, Frankfort, Indiana as its counsel for over thirty years, Mr. Moore became a member of its Board of Directors in 2014.
Prior to his professional journey, Mr. Moore attended DePauw University, earning a Bachelor of Arts, with high distinction, in 1974. As an undergraduate he was active in intercollegiate athletics earing varsity letters in football and wrestling. Mr. Moore was presented with the William Wallace Carson Award in history from DePauw University in 1973. He then enrolled at Indiana University School of Law at Bloomington, from which he graduated, magna cum laude, with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1977. Having authored a note published in the Indiana University Law Journal, Mr. Moore served on its Board of Editors as an Assistant Articles Editor. Mr. Moore's law school record was recognized by his selection as a member of the Order of the Coif.
Outside of his immediate professional responsibilities, he has provided his services to the Clinton County Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association, serving on the legal ethics committee and as a member of the House of Delegates. He was a member of the Board of Trustees of St. Vincent Hospital commencing in 2014 and serving as chairman from 2015 to 2016. From 1993 to 2009, he contributed his time and skills on the Board of Directors for the Clinton County Hospital Foundation and the St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital Foundation, twice serving as chairman. Mr. Moore was also a member of the Board of Directors of Frankfort Main Street at its formation.
