Tom Kenyon Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

With more than 30 years of experience in research and education to his credit, Mr. Kenyon has become an authority in his industry. He began his career path as the director of Acoustic Brain Research from 1983 to 1993. Mr. Kenyon currently serves as a lecturer at psycho-acoustic immersion seminars and as a psychotherapist. Mr. Kenyon is regarded as a pioneer in the field of psycho-acoustic research and psycho-acoustic healing. Notably, he continues to research enhanced brain performance and the use of sound and music as a means to generate altered states of consciousness for the purpose of accessing unused potentials of the brain.

Prior to becoming an esteemed researcher and educator, Mr. Kenyon pursued higher education with a Bachelor of Arts in communications, drama and speech from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1976 and a Master of Arts in Psychological Counseling from Columbia Pacific University in 1983. He was certified in whole brain learning from the John David Learning Institute in 1983 and pursued postgraduate coursework in humanistic counseling and breath work, as well as in Erickson medical hypnosis at the Southeast Institute in 1984.

Mr. Kenyon co-authored a number of published works, including "The Magdalen Manuscript" in 2006, "The Arcturian Anthology" in 2012 and "Great Human Potential: Walking in One's Own Light" in 2013. In addition, he was the co-author of "The Hathor Material" in 2012, as well as the author of "Brain States" and "Mind Thieves" in 2001. Likewise, he was the subject of the documentary "Song of the New Earth: Tom Kenyon and the Power of Sound" in 2014.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Kenyon remains informed of the changes and advancements in his industry through relevant organizations. He is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energy Medicine. Mr. Kenyon is a co-founder of the Sound Healing Foundation. In his free time, he enjoys comparative religious studies, comparative mythology, musical compositions and photography. Mr. Kenyon is married to his wife Judi Pope Koteen and has four children.

In light of his many achievements in the field, Mr. Kenyon has received a number of accolades throughout his career. He received the Raymond Taylor Award for Excellence in the Performing Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1970. In addition, Mr. Kenyon was featured in the 66th through 71st editions of Who's Who in America between 2011 and 2018.
