Dr. Edwards-Nixon is a Mitochondrion International Lecturer on brain diseases and cardiovascular diseases. Her extensive study on electromagnetic waves, the elicited electrical activity of the brain and the heart, coupled with the interdisciplinary biomedical sciences of psychology, neuroscience, immunology, molecular biology, psychiatry, psychometrics, pharmacology and histology contributes to the robust research of identifying an organic medicine with three virgin antibiotics and three essential minerals needed daily for everyday wellness is a monumental Nobel Peace Prize recognition distinction.

Dr. Edwards-Nixon is an explorer and Field Biologist. She is a Nutritionist and Iron Clad Chef. Her first dissertation and research is on Subliminal Stimulation. Her second Research project and dissertation for the last seven years focus mainly on Specialite Medecine Biologique.

She has worked at the Chemistry Food Lab, Tanteen, St. Georges, Grenada with her Supervisor, the Head of the Chemistry Lab Department, Mr. Sean Henry.

Dr. Edwards-Nixon is the epitome of diversified disciplines including a Minister of the Gospel of grace and Peace through Jesus Christ. She has served on many diverse mission groups including Kiddie Kollege as the Supervisor at Philadelphia College of Bible, Langhorne, Pennsylvania, with Mae E. Stewart as her Supervisor, 1989-1990. Diversity group, Group Academicians and Mission Friends at Seventh and James Baptist Church 1990-1993. Center for integrating Body, Mind and Spirit, Ruth Circle, Celebrations Chair and Out Reach Ministry Team, at First Baptist Church in Birmingham1997-2002. In addition, Crop walk, Amyloidosis, South Oakland Shelter, the Judson Center and several Non-profit organizations in Michigan. Dr. Edwards-Nixon started the first K'Tonton (Jewish pre-school) one room school house in Bucks County, Pennsylvania in 1989. Besides her contribution to the above mentioned Mission work in the USA, her worldwide ministry have provided international traveling opportunities to five continents, giving humanitarian service annually with a Family Practice group for the last ten years, with Dr. Dorothy A. Adams and Dr. Ratchnee France.

Dr. Edwards-Nixon is a pioneer, trailblazer, industrious and competent Business Coach and is the CEO for ISOW since 1980. From 1999- 2013 she worked at Cranbrook Institute of Science as a Special Event Supervisor with her mentor and coach, Mrs. Ida B.Tomlin. She has been an END-IONM clinical neurophysiologist with the William Beaumont Hospital, now known as Beaumont Health in Royal Oak, Michigan, 2003-2008. Prior to obtaining this position, she served as a lab assistant in the Immunopathology Lab and Histology Lab with the hospital from 2001 to 2003. In addition to her primary roles, Dr. Edwards-Nixon served as a clinical assistant of speech language pathology and audiology with the Waco Integrated Clinical Facility of the Central Texas Veterans Health Care Systems, with Jane Colbert, Speech-Language Pathologist as her Supervisor. At the Family Abuse Center, Transitional Living Program & Sanctuary Home, Waco, Texas she served with Katie Garrett, the Coordinator of the Program and Sanctuary Home. Dr. Edwards-Nixon worked at Lake Pointe Senior Care, Clinton Township, Michigan for one year, from 1996-1997 with the Rehab team for Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Language Pathology with Shahida Suleman RPT. As an advanced Wellness Practitioner in Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM), she is versed in Wellness Counseling techniques, Counseling Techniques, Counseling Practicum, and Research Project focusing on Cognitive Therapy with Mindfulness Techniques, Conceptualization / Treatment Planning, Group Counseling, Psychometric, Drug Addictions, Testing and Assessment, with Internship at Treeside Psychological Clinic (TPC), Lake Orion, Michigan.

Dr. Edwards-Nixon began her career as a student at Truett McConnell University in Georgia, with Mrs. Polly Cox as her Advisor, where she obtained an Associate of Arts in pre-med biology in 1979. After spending time in her field, she worked at the renowned Bell Labs, Murray Hill, New Jersey with Dr. Patricia E. Cladis and Over Look Hospital in Summit New Jersey. She continued her studies at Baylor University in Texas, completing a BA in Psychology and pre-law in 1994 and Communication Disorders from 1994-1996. Dr. Edwards-Nixon is certified as an Assistant Audiologist and Assistant Speech Language Pathologist by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, with completion for Audiology practicum both at Baylor University and the Audiology Clinic in Madison Heights, Michigan with Georgean Balay, M.S. CCC Audiologist. Dr. Edwards-Nixon completed an Associate of Science in electroencephalographic technology from California College of Science, now known as Independence University in 2005.

A respected voice in her areas of expertise, Dr. Edwards-Nixon has been a beacon of light and an active leader in her community as well. A former regional board member of the American Baptist Churches of Michigan, she has also expressed skill as a composer, writing the museum lyrics for the CD "Hands Across America." A regular contributor of articles to professional journals, Dr. Edwards-Nixon maintains affiliation with the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists in an effort to remain up to date with developments in her field. An excellent communicator in British English, Canadian French, Castilian Spanish and American Sign Language.

Throughout her career, Dr. Edwards-Nixon has been recognized for her contributions and distinctions in academicians. Schooled under British protectorate educational system, in Form 3, she got distinction for an essay on Good Sportsmanship, assigned by Mrs. Velma Clouden. In Form 4, she got distinction in Royal Society of Arts (mathematics) by Cambridge University. In Form 5, she secured first position in her class of 35. Upon graduation she received the Principal Prize for Service to the School (Anglican High School).

Her first semester at Baylor University, she gained a 4.0 GPA which provided an invitation to become a Life Time member of Golden Key National Honor Society (GKNHS). She served two Chapters, Baylor University and Oakland University as an Art Historian for GKNHS.

Dr. Edwards-Nixon notably, has received academic scholarships from Beaumont Hospital, Rotary International, and St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada. At Oakland University from 2008-2012, she did the Master's coursework for Counseling and specialized in Mental Health and Wellness. During her 5 years of service at Oakland University, Rochester campus, Michigan, she worked with students of low socioeconomic income in four local Pontiac High schools, including Oak Park High School and Pontiac Academy for Excellence, with her Supervisor and Academic Coordinator, Mrs. Carolyn Delia. Dr. Edwards-Nixon encouraged academic success with desired outcome at the four Pontiac High School, with one hundred percent graduates in the program for the five consecutive academic years. Dr. Edwards-Nixon facilitated and implemented College Seminar and Curricular Seminar to provide optimal outcome for Academic Success, improving ACT and SAT scores for the four Pontiac High Schools. Dr. Edwards- Nixon also served on twenty-two student organizations during her graduate studies and received the book-ends prestigious Staff award for "Women Who Rock at OU for her Exemplary Service, Leadership, and Professionalism.

Dr. Edwards-Nixon is a Renaissance Woman and prudent wife. Mother of three children who all bear the initials: J V N. She is noted for her eloquent penmanship and remarkable Letter Writing, recently chosen letter as the Parent Letter for Harvard pre-orientation First Year Outdoor Program in 2012 freshman year of incoming students for the Fuzzy Cheesecake.

In light of all her accomplishments, Dr. Edwards-Nixon has previously been featured in numerous honors publications, including Who's Who in Science and Engineering and Who's Who in the World. She was the Recipient for the National Merit Scholarship for Intraoperative Neurophysiology Monitor Conference in 2005. Dr. Edwards-Nixon was the Scholarship Recipient in 2012 by the First organization of American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist, WSET.
