Prior to establishing his own firm, he was the director of technical services at the Strategic Minerals Corp. in Pittsburgh from 1997 to 2015 and held a number of positions with Armco Inc., including Director, Rod Product Technology in Kansas City, Missouri, from 1986 to 1997 and Manager, High Carbon Research at Armco Research and Technology in Middletown, Ohio, from 1967 to 1986. Alongside his primary endeavors, Mr. Glodowski served on the corporate board of advisers for the University of Missouri in Rolla from 1988 to 1996.
Mr. Glodowski began his career as a student at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology in Rapid City, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in metallurgical engineering in 1967. In order to keep abreast of developments in his field, he maintains affiliation with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ASTM International and the Wire Association International. A respected leader is his field, Mr. Glodowski holds two United States patents and has authored more than 100 technical articles.
Throughout his career, Mr. Glodowski has been recognized for his contributions. Named a Distinguished Alumni by the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology in 2017, he received the Mordica Memorial Award from the Wire Association International in 2002. Earlier in his career, he was recognized with the Allan B. Dove Memorial Award and the ASTM Award for Excellence. Mr. Glodowski has previously been featured in numerous honors publications, including Who's Who in Finance and Industry.
