Previously, Ms. Maloney excelled as a receptionist, a telephone operator and an accounting supervisor for the Travelers Companies between 1966 and 1976 and an auditor for the Travelers Companies from 1976 to 1979.
Prior to becoming an esteemed accountant, Ms. Maloney pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University in 1981. A certified tax professional, she has frequently volunteered in her field and her community. Ms. Maloney notably volunteered at the campaign to re-elect Robert Shaw in the city of Manchester in 1985, the presidential campaign of Congressman Phil Crane in 1980, and the campaigns of Congressman Bill Zeliff in 1990 and Congressman Bob Smith from 1983 until his last Senatorial campaign. She has volunteered for many other campaigns ever since.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Ms. Maloney remains informed of the changes and advancements in her industry through relevant organizations. She is a member of the National Society of Tax Professionals, the National Federated Republican Women, the Smithsonian Institution and the National Society of Accountants. Ms. Maloney married Anthony Maloney in 1958, and has welcomed three children and eight grandchildren into her family.
Notably, Ms. Maloney was the first woman to run for alderman in Manchester, New Hampshire. She was elected Selectman in Manchester Ward 2. Following this position, she was elected Ward 2 Moderator and served for many years. In light of her many achievements in the field, she has received a number of awards and accolades throughout her career. She accepted the Clarence Ferry Appreciation Award from the Ward 2 Manchester Republican Committee and the Bella Duperron Award from the Manchester Republican Committee in 2003. Likewise, Ms. Maloney has been featured in several editions of Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women.
