Dr. John Repicci Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Orthopedic Medicine

Dr. Repicci channels five decades of expertise into his role with the Joint Reconstruction Orthopedic Center



Dr. John Repicci was honored with the Inventor of the Year Award from the city of Buffalo for the development of a minimally invasive knee replacement procedure known as The Repicci II in 2004.

    BUFFALO, NY, September 13, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. John Repicci has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Supported by more than 50 years of practiced experience in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Repicci excels with the Joint Reconstruction Orthopedic Center. Throughout his career, he has also been affiliated with a number of hospitals, including the Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Though it was common for dentists to transition into plastic surgery, but through his studies, Dr. Repicci came to the conclusion that many of the techniques also fit into the orthopedics field, which influenced his career path.

With a plethora of knowledge at his disposal, Dr. Repicci has contributed to a number of publications, including "Minimally Invasive Unicondylar Knee Arthroplasty for the Treatment of Unicompartmental Osteoarthritis: An Out-patient Arthritic Bypass Procedure," "Unicompartmental Arthroplasty: My Technique and Early Discharge," "Technical Aspects of Medial Versus Lateral Minimally Invasive Unicondylar Arthroplasty" and "Unicondylar Knee Replacement: The American Experience." He remains aware of changes in the industry through his alignment with the International Congress for Joint Reconstruction. After earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University at Buffalo in 1960, Dr. Repicci subsequently graduated from his alma mater with a Doctor of Medicine.

For his outstanding achievements in medicine, Dr. Repicci was honored with the Inventor of the Year Award from the city of Buffalo for the development of a minimally invasive knee replacement procedure known as The Repicci II in 2004. Over the years, he has found fulfillment in his career through his combined education in dentistry and medicine. Looking toward the future, Dr. Repicci intends to enjoy his well-deserved retirement.
