For more than three decades, Mr. Raymond Mattern Trageser excelled as an insurance company executive.

For more than three decades, Mr. Trageser excelled as an insurance company executive. He began his career with Continental Insurance in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as an underwriter from 1957 to 1958. As he progressed within the company, Mr. Trageser held the posts of senior underwriter, an assistant superintendent, and a full superintendent between 1958 and 1965.
Soon thereafter, Mr. Trageser joined Transamerica Insurance in Pittsburgh as an underwriting manager from 1965 to 1967. He further served in the roles of a marketing manager and a branch manager before concluding his tenure with the company as the resident vice president and a regional manager from 1969 to 1990, branch manager from 1984 to 1985, and then resident vice president from 1984 to 1990. Mr. Trageser served as resident vice president until 1990. Other professional endeavors to Mr. Trageser's credit include contributing as a speaker and a representative for the Insurance Information Institute in New York.
In preparation of his career, Mr. Trageser pursued a formal education. After completing coursework at Duquesne University between 1952 and 1954, he continued his studies with additional coursework at the University of Pittsburgh from 1959 to 1961. To remain aware of changes in the field, Mr. Trageser maintains his professional affiliation with the Insurance Club of Pittsburgh, the Pennsylvania Property and Casualty Insurance Guaranty Association, the Insurance Federation of Pennsylvania, and the Pittsburgh Property & Casualty, Inc. Mr. Trageser is also a Rotarian.
Civically, Mr. Trageser served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957, during which time he was stationed in Germany. For his accomplishments in the field, he has been selected for inclusion in numerous editions of Who's Who in the East and an edition of Who's Who in the World. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Trageser enjoys fishing, traveling, and numismatics during his spare time.
