Marybeth Gray Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Healthcare and Welfare Consulting

    CHESTER SPRINGS, PA, September 23, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marybeth Gray has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Dedicated to making health care more affordable, Ms. Gray serves as the senior vice president of health and welfare consulting for Trion Group, a Marsh & McLennan Agency, where she also works as a senior consultant. For many years, she has excelled in the employee benefits field, analyzing the health care costs and benefit plans of a plethora of companies in order to reduce both cost and liability. Periodically, Ms. Gray also teaches one class per year in health policy and administration at the Pennsylvania State University.

Prior to her tenure at Trion, Ms. Gray was active as the vice president of Aon Consulting from 1999 until 2000 and as a national account manager for Aetna for the previous decade. During her time at Aon, she focused on data analysis of utilization trends in healthcare to build efficient strategies that address long-term cost management. Prior to that, she held a position in National Account Management with Aetna Inc. With Aetna, Ms. Gray maintained the responsibility for account management from a financial and operations perspective and participated on the company's President's Roundtable Committee, liaising between clients and the president's office regarding changes that would improve the company's operating procedures.

Licensed in accident, health and life insurance, as well as fixed annuities, in 32 states, Ms. Gray earned a Bachelor of Science in health policy and administration from the Pennsylvania State University in 1989. She retains her professional alignment with the National Business Group on Health in Washington. Likewise, Ms. Gray is a founding member of GROW, a women in business initiative at Trion. Ms. Gray also serves Hamot Hospital, UPMC in Erie, PA on the Board of Corporators.

Throughout her career, Ms. Gray has found success through speaking and teaching CE classes at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School through the University Conference Services. She has also contributed to the Ronald McDonald House and several community organizations. Recognized as the Most Influential Women in Benefit Advising in 2017 by Employee Benefits Advisor, Ms. Gray aims to mentor four or five up-and-comers in the field so that she may eventually pass the torch.
