Dr. Broderick of Drs. Broderick, Dusek & Deleon P.C. is an orthodontist in private practice for more than 35 years. With two locations in Savannah, as well as one in Pooler and Swainsboro, and Bluffton, South Carolina, he and his colleagues are renowned for a reputation of excellence in serving children and adults. Dr. Broderick, Dusek & Deleon provide modern orthodontic care, including early treatment and comprehensive care. Dr. Broderick is also a member of the Southeast Georgia Cleft Lip and Palate team since 1987 and provides orthodontic care for those who have craniofacial deformities, specifically cleft lip and plate patients.
Graduating from Hiram College magna cum laude in 1975, Dr. Broderick subsequently attended Case Western Reserve University on an Armed Forces Health Scholarship, acquiring a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1979. Serving as an officer in the U.S. Navy Dental Corp., he continued to find success in the U.S. Navy Reserve for more than 20 years, retiring at the rank of a Captain in 2001. He also received a Master of Science in Orthodontics, at Saint Louis University in 1986, at which he was the recipient of the J. P. Marshall Award as the Valedictorian of his class. Dr. Broderick is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists and an elected fellow in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Broderick is also an Honorable fellow of the Georgia Dental Association. He is past president of the Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is to foster and advance education and scientific research in the field of orthodontics, associated branches of dentistry and promote the clinical practice of orthodontics. He is a past president of the Georgia Academy of Dental Practice from 2016-2017 and past president of the Georgia Dental Association. He is a lifetime member of American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontist, and the Georgia Orthodontic Association.
Locally, Dr. Broderick is a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Rotary Club of Savannah South and Catholic War Veteran. He is a former St. James School board member and a Mayfair Swim Team president. He is president of the St. James Catholic Church Men's Club and a Eucharistic minister at St. James. Dr. Broderick has been cited in the first edition of Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, as well as the 23rd edition of Who's Who in the South and Southeast.
