    LOUISVILLE, KY, September 27, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Carl Arthur Henlein, Esq, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

After litigating for more than 50 years in the areas of tort and product liability law, Mr. Henlein retired from Frost Brown Todd in 2013. Today, he continues to offer his services of counsel. Throughout his career, he excelled as the lead trial counsel and represented a host of manufacturers and insurers, including AT&T, Dow Chemical, Chevron, General Electric, Johnson & Johnson, Monsanto Corporation, and many more. Over the years, he litigated a wide variety of product liability cases, including asbestos litigation, for which he was retained by an English parent company to oversee the defense for more than 100,000 asbestos claims in 9,000 nationwide lawsuits, and silicone breast implant litigation during which time he directed the international defense of Trace International Holdings, Foamex International, Scott Paper Company, and Kimberly Clark.

In the early 1960s, Mr. Henlein earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and English through Georgetown College before obtaining a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Brandeis School of Law from the University of Louisville in 1964. Prior to taking on a role of counsel, he retained his professional affiliation with the Florida and Kentucky Bar Associations, the legal liability working group of the U.S. Chamber Institute for Legal Reform, the complex litigation, mass tort task force, and drug and medical device sections of the Defense Research Institute and the Georgetown College Board of Trustees.

Due to his outstanding work in the field, Mr. Henlein was honored by numerous organizations. Particularly, he was listed with International Who's Who of Product Liability Lawyers in 2008, Chambers USA as a Leading Lawyer for Business in 2008 and 2009, and earned consistent AV preeminent ratings through Martindale-Hubbell. In the coming years, Mr. Henlein intends to continue providing his considerable mass tort and product liability expertise in an of counsel position. He is presently writing a book, "A Nation of Lawyers: Not Laws" exposing the flaws in the American litigation system.
