Marcia Priscilla Goseco Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

    SAN MATEO, CA, September 27, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Marcia Priscilla Goseco with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Goseco celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. A celebrated educator, Ms. Goseco retired in 2013 as a business instructor at the City College of San Francisco after 26 years on campus. During her career, she also taught Spanish courses and computer applications for South San Francisco Adult Education, was an instructor counselor for the Center for Employment Training, and was a word processing instructor at Heald College. In addition, in 2015 and 2016 she served as a voluntary tax preparer for SSF Community Learning Center.

Prior to teaching, Ms. Goseco spent more than 30 years in the business world. Originally a Secretary for Ensenada Municipality between 1960 and 1964, she subsequently worked as a clerk/Telex Machine Operator for Bank of America in San Francisco, Word Processing Technician for Bechtel Corporation and Graphics Manager for Noble Lowndes/Western Benefit Plan Consultants.

Ms. Goseco received a Bachelor of Arts from San Francisco State University in 1990. She holds certification in Word Processing I-II, earned her teaching credential from SJSU in 1990, and is certified to teach vocational education and Spanish in the state of California. In 1962, She graduated from Academia Industrial, Comercial y de Enseñanzas Especiales, in Ensenada, BC, as a Taquimecanografa.

In 1991, The State of California Council for Private Education issued her a Credential for Postsecondary and Vocational Education.

Honored with an Outstanding Leadership Award from the Center for Employment Training for 1991-1992, Ms. Goseco has also been recognized as a Marquis listee in the 25th edition of Who's Who of American Women. She also received the SSFAE - 5, 7, and 10 years Honor Awards and was the recipient of an Outstanding Leadership Award from the Center for Employment Training in 1991-1992.
