Prior to this appointment, he held the position of Partner for Kopff, Nardelli & Dopf LLP from 1982 to 2012. Previously, he served Martin, Clearwater & Bell as an Associate from 1980 to 1981. Mr. Dopf began his career as an independent landscaping business owner and serviceman, using the profits from his handiwork to finance his way through college and law school.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Dopf pursued an education at Fordham University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in 1975. He continued his academic efforts with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1979, also at Fordham University. Mr. Dopf concluded his studies in 1983 at New York University, graduating with a Master of Laws.
Mr. Dopf is licensed to practice law by the New Jersey State Bar and the New York State Bar. He has also been admitted to practice by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Mr. Dopf has also been admitted before the United States Court of International Trade and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Beyond his responsibilities within his primary trade, Mr. Dopf has participated in numerous endeavors in his professional circles. He has found much success with his written works, having contributed many articles to such publications as Practising Law Institute, Medical Malpractice in New York, The Journal of the Bellevue Obstetrical & Gynecological Society, Volume VIII, and the New York Journal of Epilepsy, Volume I. Mr. Dopf has excelled as a lecturer in his field.
In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Dopf has accrued several accolades and honors throughout his impressive career.
