Taking hundreds of trials to verdict in both state and federal courts, Mr. Laquercia boasts 50 years of experience. Prior to establishing his firm in 1980, he was an associate at two different firms and a staff trial attorney for Kings County Civil Court in New York.
Separate from his full-time commitments, Mr. Laquercia spent time as an arbitrator in small claims night court for the Civil Court for the City of New York. He also served as the president of the board of directors for Strong Place Day Care Center, Inc. What's more, he has been prolifically active as a member of several industry-related organizations, having been a member on the board of directors for the Defense Association of York, and a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Bronx Bar Association, and the Columbia Lawyers Association.
Acquiring a Bachelor of Arts in English at Saint Francis College in 1966, Mr. Laquercia soon after completed a Doctor of Jurisprudence at Saint John's University in 1969. He has been admitted to the New York Bar Association, the Southern, and Eastern Districts of the U.S. District Court of New York, the Second Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Laquercia notably served in the U.S. Army Reserve between 1969 and 1975 and was honorably discharged as a staff sergeant on January 1, 1975.
The recipient of a New York State Regents College scholarship between 1962 and 1966, Mr. Laquercia has since been the recipient of an Alumni Achievement Award from his alma mater, Saint Francis College in 2011. Receiving an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, he has also been recognized by Who's Who in Colleges and Universities in 1966. Further, Mr. Laquercia is a celebrated Marquis listee who has been cited in the 58th edition of Who's Who in America and the fourth and 12th editions of Who's Who in American Law.
