Taking on his new position in 2018, the organization, which operates under the name True Lemon/True Citrus Company, primarily does business in the powders soft drink and commercial ingredient industries. In his role, Mr. Cuddihy oversees sales, marketing, finance, investor relations, strategic planning, and day-to-day operations. He formerly served as the chief operating officer for True Citrus, a newly formed position at that time, for one year.
A proven leader in the industry, Mr. Cuddihy's extensive expertise spans consumer products and brand building, marketing, advertising, manufacturing, distribution, retail, and e-commerce. Throughout his professional journey, he has worked diligently to help companies grow and become more profitable, efficient, and customer centric. Most notably, Mr. Cuddihy spent more than 20 years in various high-level positions, including as the chief operating officer and the chief financial officer at three different corporations: ProPhase Labs; iDNA Inc. (formerly National Auto Credit, Inc.); and HMG Worldwide Corporation.
At ProPhase, Mr. Cuddihy was instrumental in the success of its Cold-EEZE® cold remedy brand. During his years with iDNA, he also held the roles of the chief financial officer, a treasurer, and a secretary. Meanwhile, with HMG, he lent his expertise as the chief financial officer and chief operating officer, and the president of the digital marketing division, and a member of the company's board of directors. Moreover, Mr. Cuddihy spent several years as the president of Shannon Hill Associates and as a senior audit manager at KPMG Peat Marwick in New York City.
An alumnus of Franklin and Marshall College, Mr. Cuddihy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. A certified public accountant, he holds membership with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a former member of the National Association of Accountants. Participating in numerous civic engagements, Mr. Cuddihy was known locally for serving as the coaching director for the Mid-Atlantic Women's Hockey Association, as well as his efforts as the president and a member of the board of directors for the Bridgewater Bears Hockey Association.
In 2009, Mr. Cuddihy successfully guided and produced a turnaround for the Cold-EEZE® brand. The company later sold the Cold-EEZE® brand for $50 million in 2017. In 2013, he was awarded with an Executive Management Award from SmartCEO.
