Dan Moss Celebrates 50 Years of Professional Excellence

    ATLANTA, GA, October 09, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dan Moss has been included in Marquis Who's Who. With nearly fifty years of professional experience, Mr. Moss has excelled as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice Chairman of the World Chamber of Commerce since 2017, Acting CFO, Treasurer and Vice Chairman of the Board of Geophia, LLC, in Atlanta, GA since 2013 and nFibers, a wholly owned subsidiary based in Atlanta, GA, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, and Chairman of the Committee on Investment & Economic Development of World Chamber of Commerce since 2009. Hutton & Co. in Atlanta, GA (1974-1988), Accountant Executive with DuPont Walston in Atlanta, GA (1972-1974), and Manager of Edison Brothers Stores in Syracuse, NY (1970-1972). He served as an adjunct instructor at Emory University from 1975 to 2000.

Mr. Moss currently works as a business and financial consultant and was interviewed on the topic of start-ups and early stage businesses by International Business Radio in 2015, served as a panel interview participant on International Business Radio's Ritz Group Radio with Kevin Harrington in 2014, and cohosted the popular Atlanta Live TV show with his wife Sheila Moss on Channel 57 in Atlanta, GA from 2007-2008.

Mr. Moss initially pursued an education with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science in 1970. He was certified by the International Association of Financial Planners in 1974. For his exemplary efforts, Mr. Moss was presented with the Global Hero Award from World Chamber of Commerce. He also received an Award of Achievement from World Chamber of Commerce in 2012 for authoring the White Paper: "Visas For Trillions," which became the basis of a bill introduced in the U.S. Congress (Visit USA Act) that would, during the housing meltdown, during the recession, give visas to those who came to the United States and bought a house for cash thereby boosting the housing market. It was sponsored by Senators Mike Lee and Charles Schumer. It was also endorsed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, World Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Travel Association, National Association of Realtors, Warren Buffett and others. Although the bill was not passed by the United States Congress, the idea was picked up by Spain and several other nations and enacted by them to help boost their economies.

Additionally, he received a Sponsors Choice Award from Women of Wealth Magazine in 2012 and two Awards of Distinction and a Teacher of Excellence Award from Emory University.

He is presently or in the past has been a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, The Ritz Group in Atlanta, GA, Buckhead 50 Group, American-Israel Chamber of Commerce's Professional Committee and Technology Committee, Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Peachtree Heights West Civic Association, Tuxedo Park Civic Association, and Fulton County Tax Payers Association. He is a founding member of World Affairs Council in Atlanta, served as president of the Rotary Club, and maintains affiliation with the International Association of Financial Planners, Angel Investor Group, Association of Angel Investors, Southeast Venture Conference and Community, and UNC Alumni Association.

Born in Greensboro, NC in 1948 to Dan and Caroline (Callaway) Moss, he attributes his professional success to always working hard and having the favor of God in his life. He is Christian Minister, former Board of Directors member of Lady Tara Golf Classic, and Haggai International Board of Trustees member.
