Inspired by an interest in capital markets and securities, Mr. Lewis Lowenfels has found much success throughout his career in finance law.

Inspired by an interest in capital markets and securities, Mr. Lowenfels has found much success throughout his career in finance law. As a partner with Tolins & Lowenfels, a boutique law firm with a concentration in corporate and securities law, he focuses on transactional work, securities regulatory matters and securities arbitrations. Over the years, Mr. Lowenfels has represented companies and individuals in cases involving the Securities and Exchange Commission, self-regulating agencies such as FINRA, and the New York Stock Exchange.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lowenfels has also gained valuable industry experience as the public governor for the American Stock Exchange, a post in which he served from 1993 to 1996. Additionally, he excelled in education as an adjunct professor with Seton Hall University School of Law, and as a lecturer with the Practicing Law Institute and the University of Minnesota. Prior to establishing Tolins & Lowenfels, Mr. Lowenfels served in the United States Army Reserve between 1957 and 1963.

A licensed corporations and securities attorney in New York, Mr. Lowenfels pursued an education at Harvard University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1957 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1961. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, he is affiliated with the American Bar Association's federal regulation of securities committee and the New York County Lawyers Association's securities and exchanges committee. With a plethora of knowledge at his disposal, Mr. Lowenfels has contributed to a number of articles in professional journals and eight volumes of "Bromberg and Lowenfels on Securities Fraud."

Due to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Lowenfels was honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017. He was further featured in such publications as Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who in American Law.
