Dr. Horn is renowned as a respected cardiologist and teacher, holding the L.W. Diggs alumni endowed professorship in the college of medicine at the University of Tennessee at Memphis. Notably, Dr. Horn obtained a bachelor's degree, cum laude, at Vanderbilt University in 1961 and a Doctor of Medicine, with honors, at the University of Tennessee in 1964.
