Mr. Brett Irick has been presented with the Howland Wood Award, the Presidential Award and the Glen Smedley Memorial Award from the American Numismatic Association.

Supported by three decades of practiced industry experience, Mr. Irick currently serves as the chairman of the affiliate council of the Engineering Society of Detroit. At the beginning of his career, he excelled with the Ford Motor Company as a manufacturing engineer in vehicle operations. After a decade of service, he found success in a co-leader role in the Ranger Plant Vehicle Team for the Ford Motor Company and was the final assembly launch leader for the first generation of Ford Escape. Over the years, Mr. Irick excelled with the company as an engineering supervisor, the superintendent of plant engineering, a new model manager and an engineering manager.
Additionally, Mr. Irick served as the president of the Southeastern Michigan Power Plant Engineering Society in 2016. Although his career has been filled with highlights, he is especially proud of the patents he has obtained and the fact that he has had such an impact on Ford as a company. Prior to embarking upon his professional path, Mr. Irick has earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the Ohio State University, cum laude, and a Master of Business Administration, with high distinction, from the University of Michigan.
Due to the fact that the field of engineering is always evolving, Mr. Irick remains aware of changes in his industry through his affiliations with the Society of Automotive Engineers, the Engineering Society of Detroit and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He is also a member of numerous numismatic associations, including the Central States Numismatic Society where he serves as vice president and the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association, where he holds an area directorship. During his spare time, Mr. Irick contributes to his community as a 15-year president of his 153-unit condominium association.
For his professional achievements, Mr. Irick has been presented with the Howland Wood Award, the Presidential Award and the Glen Smedley Memorial Award from the American Numismatic Association and has received a Numismatic Ambassador Award. He has been additionally selected for inclusion in two editions of Who's Who in America. Looking toward the future, Mr. Irick intends to enjoy his retirement.
