He served as a member of the U.S. Army on active duty in Vietnam from 1968 until 1971. Upon his return to civilian life, Mr. Baumann earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1974 from the University of Nebraska, and was admitted to practice law by the Nebraska State Bar Association during the same year.
From 1974 until 2000, Mr. Baumann garnered a laudable reputation as the partner at Fillman and Baumann, Attorneys. Since 1981, he has continued his career as the owner of Kelley, Scritsmier and Byrne. Mr. Baumann has been sworn to practice law before the United States Court of Appeals, the Eighth Circuit, and the United States Tax court.
In accounting for his success, Mr. Baumann credits a deeply ingrained dedication to hard work, and is proud to use his legal expertise to help clients in their time of need. He is a former member of the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce board of directors, and a member of the Nebraska Council of School Attorneys, for which he served as the president from 1988 to 1989.
